Christian Education

As a church that believes deeply in teaching the Word of God, Northminster provides a rich variety of Christian Education opportunities for visitors, guests and people of all ages.

Sunday School for Children and Youth
Northminster's weekly Sunday School for children and youth provides a mix of Bible stories, activities and related crafts, following a nationally known Sunday School curriculum. Young children gain an introduction to Christian traditions, heritage and values in a way that supplements what they learn at home as they begin to take their first steps in their own journey of faith. For very young children, a Cribbery service is provided.

Sunday School for Adults
Northminster offers Bible classes structured for adult analysis and discussion. One goal is to challenge each other to grow in our faith through studying the "Word" that God has given us to govern our lives by. Through unified study, we encourage ourselves as well as others to live our lives in accordance with Christ's teachings.

J.A.M. (Jesus And Me) Youth Group
This is the name of our vibrant youth group, which meets weekly to participate in a varied combination of activities, study, and lively discussion. J.A.M. is a friendly atmosphere which provides youth the opportunity to congregate with their peers, while being stimulated with various Christian values. This is an important stage for our youth to begin their spiritual maturity and we take great pride in this program.
    

Vacation Bible Camp
This year it will be held at Emory Grove in Glyndon. It will be from 9AM to Noon, July 16-20, 2007, with culminating program Friday, July 20th, from 7-8:30 PM. The theme is "BEE-ATTITUDES: Be what Jesus Wants You To Be."
