Among adventurers, there's a saying that direction is primary and distance is secondary. You can be the fastest hiker but if your steps are taking you in the wrong direction, you aren’t getting any closer to your destination. It’s always best to find your bearing first and then start moving. We want to work at finding our bearing that points to True North, to God. We want to discover the direction God wants us to be moving in our relationships with God, one another, and creation.
