Our Worship

Worship is at the core of who we are as a congregation. Our Sunday morning worship service is a creative, multi-generational experience, where all are welcome to join us as we honor and celebrate our Lord Jesus Christ. The service takes place in our sanctuary at 11:00am, and during the summer months, at 10:00am.

Music, which has always been a treasured component of our worship at Northminster, is a blend of contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns, led by a combination of our dynamic Praise Team and our talented Chancel Choir. At the heart of this service is Bible-based teaching and preaching that magnifies the God we serve and is relevant to the challenges we face in today’s world. Communion or “The Lord’s Supper” is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month.

We offer childcare in our Cribbery for infants through age 2, and gladly welcome all children to our worship service.  A Children’s Sermon and prayer, led by our pastor, is a much anticipated aspect of each service. Following the Children’s Sermon, all little ones (second grade and younger) are invited to attend Children’s Church in our nursery, as an alternative to remaining in the sanctuary.

We invite you to come as you are with doubts and faith, hopes and fears, joys and concerns.  If you would like to worship with others who are seeking to follow Jesus Christ, or if you want to find out what Jesus might mean to you, we welcome you to Northminster.
