Each of us is called to worship God with our entire life, including our time, talents, and resources. Sharing those resources is an important way to worship the Giver of all good things. We pledge to be good stewards of your gifts, taking great care in how we manage and track the resources entrusted to us.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ Centered recovery program based on the actual words of Jesus Christ during his sermon on the mount. Using the beatitudes, Celebrate Recovery provides steps and principals to help overcome hurts, hangups and habits of all kinds. Here at Northminster we launched a Celebrate Recovery ministry in an effort to reach the Reisterstown area with healing truths that will help all of us to move closer to Christ and the lives that he intends for us to enjoy. The Holy Spirit has used this program to transform lives all over the world. What a privilege it is for us to be able to participate in this ministry. Contributions to this fund will enable us to purchase materials for our participants and provide for our ongoing program needs, help others in our community.
Sykes Toy Project:
What a joy it is to care for and meet the needs of children! The Sykes Toy Project has been an active ministry at Northminster for many years. Their volunteers receive, sort, clean, refurbish and pack toys, books, puzzles, stuffed animals, dolls and games donated by the community. In December, these toys are given freely to families as well as charitable organizations that serve the needy throughout the state. Won't you join us in brightening a children's holiday by making a "tax deductible" donation today?
We are blessed with a beautiful church building and property that serve as a wonderful home base for our congregation and the missions we support. The building & grounds are a visible symbol of the abundant blessings of God in the families of the church and our entire community. In order to keep our buildings in great shape, we depend on many volunteers and financial support. Won't you join us with your time and resources?
Disaster can strike at any time. The Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Fund is used to bring comfort and hope to the displaced and suffering people following local and global disasters. We seek to comfort the hurting and give hope to the hopeless with God's love. It is through the kind and generous contributions of individuals, congregations, presbyteries and synods that the Presbyterian Church (USA) is able to provide monies for disaster relief. Your gifts will not only meet the needs during the immediate aftermath of a disaster, but will aid in the long road to recovery of individuals and communities. Thank you for standing with us by making a donation today.
